Michael J. Pagan is an American actor and screenwriter, born on January 12, 1985. He gained recognition for his role in the film How Stella Got Her Groove Back (1998), where he received an NAACP Image Award nomination. Pagan attended Long Beach Polytechnic High School, Verbum Dei High School, and West Los Angeles College. He received acting training at the Tasha Smith Acting Studio and the Ivanna Chubbuck Studio. Pagan also appeared in the thriller Fallen (1998) as Sam, Denzel Washington's character's nephew. He received critical acclaim for his performance in How Stella Got Her Groove Back. Pagan was nominated for an NAACP Image Award for Outstanding Youth Actor in 1999 for his role in the film.
