Michael Manasseri Biography
Michael Manasseri (born February 28, 1974) is an American actor and film director. He gained recognition as a producer, winning the 2020 Independent Spirit Award (John Cassavetes Award) for the critically acclaimed comedy Give Me Liberty, which premiered at the 2019 Sundance Film Festival and the 2019 Director's Fortnight at Cannes. He also produced the romantic comedy Dirty Love, a selection at the 2005 Sundance Film Festival. Manasseri has since produced numerous independent feature films. He co-directed the horror-thriller Babysitter Wanted in 2008 and wrote, directed, produced, and starred in the sci-fi comedy Mosquito Man in 2013. He directed and produced the family comedy The Pickle Recipe in 2015, which premiered at the 2016 Santa Barbara International Film Festival.
