Michael McGreevey

Michael McGreevey (born February 7, 1948) is an American actor and screenwriter. He gained recognition for his roles in several Walt Disney films during his early acting career. McGreevey later transitioned to writing and became a writer for the Fame TV series. He is the son of Emmy Award-winning television and film screenwriter John McGreevey. McGreevey's first major role was as young cabin boy Chip Kessler in the 1959–61 TV series Riverboat, alongside Darren McGavin. In a 2015 interview, McGreevey confirmed the rumored friction between McGavin and his co-star Burt Reynolds. Despite the clashes, McGreevey had a deep admiration for both actors.
