Michael Niavarani

Michael Niavarani (born April 29, 1968) is an Austrian-Persian stand-up comedian, author, and actor. He is known for his work in Austrian cabaret and is a prominent figure in the Austrian cabaret scene. Niavarani draws upon his inter-cultural upbringing in his comedic performances. Since 1992, he has served as the director of the Kabarett Simpl, a renowned Viennese cabaret that has been in operation since 1912. Niavarani has received several accolades throughout his career, including the Austrian Kabarett Award in 2010 and the Romy award on three occasions. His contributions to the entertainment industry span across television and film.
