Michael Pataki Biography
Michael Pataki (January 16, 1938 – April 15, 2010) was an American actor known for his work on stage, film, and television. Born in Youngstown, Ohio to Hungarian parents, Pataki attended the University of Southern California where he double majored in political science and drama. He began his career in 1966, performing in the summer stock festival in Edinburgh. Pataki gained recognition for his co-starring role as Officer Pete Gallagher in the groundbreaking ABC-TV series Get Christie Love! (1974-1975), which featured the first African American female lead in a detective TV series. Pataki also made guest appearances in numerous television productions.
