Michael Quentin Schmidt (born April 20, 1953) is an American film and television actor and Fine Arts model. He has gained popularity for his versatility and willingness to take on extreme roles. Schmidt has been working as a Fine Arts model since the late 1990s, posing for art classes and live art installations. He is known for being the body model used to create the animated Mountain Troll character in the 2001 film Harry Potter and the Philosopher's Stone. Schmidt's modeling work also led to appearances on Let's Paint TV, an interactive call-in television show, and his involvement with Tim & Eric's Tom Goes to the Mayor on Cartoon Network's Adult Swim.
