Michael Rainey Jr. (born September 22, 2001) is a Jamaican-American actor known for his roles in popular TV shows and movies. He gained fame for portraying Tariq St. Patrick in the hit series Power and its spin-off Power Book II: Ghost. Rainey Jr. also appeared as Michael Burset in Orange Is the New Black and Jalen in Barbershop: The Next Cut. Born in Louisville, Kentucky, he was raised in Staten Island, New York. Rainey Jr. began his acting career at the age of ten and has since appeared in various films and television shows. He is currently the leading character, Tariq St. Patrick, in the Power franchise's Book II. In addition, Rainey Jr. supports the Indiana-based organization 'Find and Feed' that assists the homeless.
