He gained recognition for portraying Steve Carmody in the soap opera Home and Away (2012) and Bert Ford in the drama series A Place to Call Home (2013–2014). Sheasby also appeared as Hayden Cole in the psychological thriller The Secrets She Keeps (2020) and as Walter Moody in the drama miniseries The Luminaries (2020).
