Michael Christopher Sheen (born 5 February 1969) is a Welsh actor who gained recognition for his work in both theater and film. After completing his training at London's Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (RADA), Sheen established himself in the theater industry during the 1990s. He delivered notable performances in productions such as Romeo and Juliet (1992), Don't Fool with Love (1993), Peer Gynt (1994), The Seagull (1995), The Homecoming (1997), and Henry V (1997). Sheen's stage work earned him nominations for Olivier Awards in 1998 and 1999. He transitioned to the screen in the 2000s and is widely recognized for his portrayal of UK prime minister Tony Blair in the films The Deal (2003), The Queen (2006), and The Special Relationship (2010). Sheen has been nominated for multiple awards throughout his career.
