Michael Showers

Michael Showers (born 14 July 1945) is a British convicted drug trafficker from Liverpool. Showers began his criminal career as a bank robber after being released from juvenile prison where he had served time for his involvement in a stabbing. He gained prominence as a Toxteth community leader during the 1981 Toxteth riots and later formed the Liverpool 8 Defence committee. Showers is the father of 9 children and the older brother of Delroy Showers. Both brothers have faced imprisonment for separate high-profile international drug plots. In 2014, Michael Showers was moved back to the UK from Randers, Denmark, to complete his 14-year jail term. Delroy Showers' son, Rolando Gianni Showers, resides in Amsterdam and is known in the European underworld.
