Michael Stuart

Michael Stuart (born January 13, 1975) is an American salsa singer, songwriter, and actor. He was born in New York City to Puerto Rican parents who settled there in the 1960s. Stuart received his primary and secondary education in Arecibo, Puerto Rico. Influenced by his uncle Israel Stuart, he developed a love for Latin music and taught himself to play the trumpet. Stuart began his career as a backup singer for artists like Johnny Rivera and Marc Anthony. In 1996, he released his first album, 'Cuento de la Vecinidad' (Tale of the Neighborhood). Stuart's singing style was influenced by Domingo Quiñones. Apart from his music career, Stuart has also appeared in movies and TV shows.
