Michael Therriault Biography
Michael Therriault is a Canadian actor known for his work in both classical and musical theatre. He attended the Etobicoke School of the Arts in Toronto and later studied at Sheridan College in Oakville. Therriault was a member of the inaugural season of the Birmingham Conservatory for Classical Theatre Training in Stratford, Ontario. He spent seven seasons at the Stratford Festival before transitioning to musical theatre, where he gained recognition for his role as Leopold Bloom in the Toronto production of 'The Producers', winning a Dora Award for Principal Actor in a Musical. Therriault also portrayed Tommy Douglas in the CBC Television special 'Prairie Giant: The Tommy Douglas Story', earning a Gemini Award nomination for Best Performance by an Actor in a Leading Role.
