Michael Tomlinson
Michael James Tomlinson-Mynors, born October 1, 1977, is a British politician and Member of Parliament (MP) for Mid Dorset and North Poole since 2015. He currently serves as the Solicitor General for England and Wales, a position he has held since September 2022. Prior to this, Tomlinson served as Vice-Chamberlain of the Household from July to September 2022. He is a member of the Conservative Party and previously served as the Deputy Chairman of the European Research Group (ERG). Tomlinson has a background in law, having obtained a BA in Classics from King's College London and a Postgraduate Diploma in Law from the College of Law. He worked as a barrister at Middle Temple and represented the Middle Temple in international mooting competitions in the United States and Hong Kong. His main areas of interest include education and employment.
