Michael Voltaggio (born September 29, 1978) is an American celebrity chef, restaurateur, and author. He gained recognition as a contestant on the popular cooking competition show, Top Chef, where he emerged as the winner of season 6. Voltaggio, along with his brother Bryan Voltaggio, is part of a renowned culinary family. Despite lacking the means to attend culinary school, he embarked on a successful culinary journey, honing his skills through a rigorous apprenticeship at The Greenbrier's culinary program. His talent led him to work at esteemed establishments such as the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Naples, Florida, and Charlie Palmer's Dry Creek Kitchen in Healdsburg. Currently based in Los Angeles, California, Voltaggio continues to make his mark as a prominent figure in the culinary world.
