Michael Willis (born October 4, 1949) is an American character actor known for his work in television and movies. Born in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, Willis served in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War before embarking on a career in theater acting. He gained recognition for his performances with the Woolly Mammoth Theatre Company in Washington, D.C., which led to opportunities in the film and television industry. Some of Willis' notable credits include roles in movies such as Pushing Tin and Men in Black, as well as appearances in various episodes of Law & Order. He has also been involved in Maryland-based projects, working with directors Barry Levinson and John Waters, and appearing in shows like Homicide: Life on the Street and HBO's The Wire. Willis is married to Lori and they have three children.
