Michael Yo

Michael Yo Simmons, better known as Michael Yo, is an American actor, stand-up comedian, and television host. He gained recognition as a co-host of The Insider on CBS and currently hosts Yo Show on Yahoo! TV. Yo is a regular panelist on the comedy show Chelsea Lately and has guest-hosted The Talk on CBS. He is also a pop culture commentator on Showbiz Tonight. Before pursuing a career in entertainment, Yo played football for the University of Arkansas until multiple concussions forced him to retire. His film credits include Losing Control, The Cookout 2, and Sofia Coppola's Bling Ring. Yo has also worked as a correspondent for E! News, The Daily 10, and Extra. Additionally, he coached Kourtney and Khloé Kardashian during their radio DJ gig for Kourtney & Khloé Take Miami. In 2001, he appeared on Fear Factor, completing challenges such as free falling from a hotel window, eating sheep's eyes, and hanging upside down in a water tank. Yo recently released his stand-up special debut "Blasian" on November 27, 2018.
