Mick Fleetwood
Michael John Kells Fleetwood (born June 24, 1947) is a British musician, songwriter, and actor. He is best known as the drummer, co-founder, and leader of the rock band Fleetwood Mac. Born in Redruth, Cornwall, Fleetwood spent much of his childhood in Egypt and Norway. At 15, he moved to London to pursue his musical interests. Fleetwood formed the original lineup of Fleetwood Mac with Peter Green, Jeremy Spencer, and Bob Brunning. The band achieved commercial success after inviting Lindsey Buckingham and Stevie Nicks to join in 1974. Fleetwood Mac's album Rumours became a celebrated classic. Fleetwood was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with Fleetwood Mac in 1998.
