Mick Ford Biography
Mick Ford (born 1 August 1952) is a British actor, screenwriter, and playwright. He is best known for his portrayal of intellectual convict Archer in the cinema version of Scum. Born in Croydon, Surrey, Ford attended John Ruskin Grammar School and later joined the National Youth Theatre. He appeared in numerous plays, including the premieres of Zigger Zagger and The Secret Rapture. In 1978, Ford appeared in The Sailor's Return, followed by his breakthrough role in the 1979 film Scum. He also had a role in the television film The Knowledge that same year. Ford's diverse talents and memorable performances have made him a notable figure in the entertainment industry.
