Mickey Madden

Michael Allen Madden (born May 13, 1979) is an American musician and former bassist for the pop band Maroon 5. Born in Austin, Texas, Madden began playing music in junior high school with friends Jesse Carmichael and Adam Levine. In 1994, they formed the band Kara's Flowers, with the addition of drummer Ryan Dusick. After a break-up and Madden attending UCLA, the group reformed as Maroon 5 with the addition of guitarist James Valentine, and Madden remained a consistent member until his departure on July 14, 2020. Madden is also a founding member of a multimedia project.
