Miesha Tate

Miesha Theresa Tate (born August 18, 1986) is an American professional mixed martial artist. She is known for her career in the Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) and Strikeforce, where she became the women's bantamweight champion in both organizations. Tate is also a former vice president of ONE Championship. Born in Tacoma, Washington, Tate grew up as a tomboy and participated in amateur wrestling during her high school years. She wrestled on the boys' team and faced initial challenges but persevered. With her dedication and skill, Tate has become a respected figure in the world of mixed martial arts and currently holds the #12 ranking in the UFC women's bantamweight division.
