Mike Birbiglia

Mike Birbiglia (born June 20, 1978) is an American stand-up comedian, actor, storyteller, director, producer, and writer. Known for his contributions to This American Life and The Moth, Birbiglia has released multiple comedy albums and television specials. His first feature-length film, Sleepwalk with Me (2012), which he wrote, directed, and starred in, garnered recognition and awards at the Sundance and Nantucket film festivals. He further showcased his talents in the comedy-drama Don't Think Twice (2016). Birbiglia has appeared in films like Your Sister's Sister (2011), Cedar Rapids (2011), and Trainwreck (2015). On television, he played recurring roles in Orange Is the New Black and Billions, and guest-starred in episodes of Girls, Inside Amy Schumer, and Broad City. Birbiglia also filled in for Jimmy Kimmel as a guest host for a week on his talk show.
