Mike Gunther is an American film director and stuntman known for his work as a second unit director on various blockbuster films, including Transformers: The Last Knight (2017), Star Trek Beyond (2016), and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows (2016). He also directed the feature film Setup (2011) starring Bruce Willis and the popular Netflix 'Rogue Warfare' trilogy of films. In 2020, Gunther served as the 2nd Unit Director for the Will Smith and Martin Lawrence blockbuster 'Bad Boys For Life.' Additionally, he worked as the Second Unit Director on 'Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings' (2021) for Marvel Pictures. Gunther is the owner and operator of 5150Action Productions, a film production company focusing on original content development.
