Mike Larkan

Mike Larkan (born 1964) is an Australian television presenter best known for his work on 10 News First. He provides weather reports on location at various popular locations in Melbourne. Larkan began his career as a clerk in the sporting section of the Sydney Sun in 1976, while also landing small acting roles in TV soapies and commercials. He later worked as a disc jockey at radio stations in New South Wales and Queensland. In 1982, Larkan traveled extensively, taking on various jobs including picking olives in Greece, pouring beer in a London pub, and working as an extra in a Hollywood movie. Upon his return to Australia in 1984, he joined Capital Television (now 10 Regional) in C.
