Mike Love, born Michael Edward Love on March 15, 1941, is an American singer and songwriter. He is best known for co-founding the Beach Boys, along with his cousins Brian, Dennis, and Carl Wilson, and their friend Al Jardine. Love has been a vocalist and lyricist for the band throughout their entire career, contributing to each of their studio albums. He is also the frontman for their live performances. Love's distinctive nasal tenor and occasional bass-baritone singing style has made him a recognizable voice in the music industry. In the mid-1960s, he collaborated closely with Brian Wilson, contributing lyrics to several hit records such as "Fun, Fun, Fun," "I Get Around," and "Good Vibrations."
