Mike Rowe

Mike Rowe is an American television host and narrator, born on March 18, 1962. He gained recognition for his work on the Discovery Channel series Dirty Jobs and the CNN series Somebody's Gotta Do It. Rowe has also hosted the Facebook series Returning the Favor, where he showcased individuals doing good deeds. As a narrator, he has lent his voice to programs on the Discovery Channel, The Science Channel, and National Geographic Channel, including Deadliest Catch, How the Universe Works, and Shark Week. Additionally, Rowe has appeared in commercials for companies like the Ford Motor Company. Raised in Baltimore County, Maryland, he became an Eagle Scout in 1979 and has been involved in philanthropy, such as reading to students at the Maryland School for the Blind.
