Mikey Robins is an Australian media personality, comedian, and writer. Born on December 8, 1961, in Newcastle, New South Wales, he rose to fame as the host of the satirical game show Good News Week, which aired from 1996 to 2000 and was later revived in 2008. Robins attended Newcastle High School and went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in English and Drama from the University of Newcastle. Before his successful career in the entertainment industry, Robins worked as a parcel pickup boy at Woolworths and as a barman at the Mary Ellen Hotel. He also had a seven-year stint as a breakfast radio presenter for Triple J.
