Miles Jupp Biography
Miles Jupp is an English actor, singer, and comedian born on September 8, 1979. He started his career as a stand-up comedian and gained recognition for his role as Archie in the children's TV series Balamory. Jupp also portrayed John Duggan in The Thick of It and Nigel in the sitcom Rev. He has appeared on numerous comedy panel shows and in September 2015, took over as the host of The News Quiz on BBC Radio 4, replacing Sandi Toksvig. Jupp was born in Newcastle upon Tyne but spent most of his childhood in London. He attended several independent schools and studied Divinity at the University of Edinburgh.
