Mili Avital Biography
Mili Avital is an Israeli actress known for her work in stage, film, and television. Born in Jerusalem to graphic designers Noni and Iko Avital, she grew up in Tel Aviv and Ra'anana. Avital attended the Thelma Yellin High School of Arts in Givatayim before moving to New York City in 1993 to study acting at the Circle in the Square Theatre School. Her breakthrough came in 1994 when she was cast as the female lead in the science fiction film Stargate. Since then, Avital has built an international career, winning the Israeli Academy Award for Best Supporting Actress in 1991 and continuing to act in both Israeli and Hollywood productions.
