Milt Kogan Biography
Milt Kogan (born April 10, 1936) is an American actor known for his appearances in over 100 guest roles on American network television shows. He gained recognition for his portrayal of Desk Sergeant Kogan on six episodes of the sitcom television series Barney Miller and for his various roles on Police Story in the 1970s. Apart from his acting career, Kogan is also a board-certified Family Medicine physician practicing in Los Angeles, California. He earned his medical degree after leaving Cornell University, where he later returned to complete his B.S. in Animal Science. Kogan also holds an M.P.H. in Epidemiology from the University of California, Los Angeles and has served as a Peace Corps Physician, with the National Health Service Corps, and in the U.S. Army.
