Ming Tsai

Ming Tsai (born 1964) is an American chef, restaurateur, and television personality. He is known for his focus on east-west fusion cuisine. Tsai owned Blue Ginger, a Zagat- and James Beard-recognized restaurant in Massachusetts from 1998 to 2017. He also owns Blue Dragon, a tapas-style gastropub in Boston. Tsai currently hosts Simply Ming, a cooking show on American Public Television that is now in its seventeenth season. He has previously hosted shows such as Ming's Quest on the Fine Living Network and East Meets West. Tsai has also competed on the Food Network show The Next Iron Chef (2010). Born in Ohio, Tsai was raised in a family involved in the restaurant business.
