Miracle Laurie Biography
Miracle Laurie (born August 1, 1981) is an American actress best known for her role as Mellie in the Joss Whedon drama Dollhouse. She began her acting career at Orange Coast College, where she participated in the student-run repertory theatre and appeared in faculty-directed shows. Some notable roles during this time include Belle Starr in Jessie and the Bandit Queen (2000) and Ariel in William Shakespeare's The Tempest (2001). Laurie's first credited TV role was as sorority sister Veronica in the 2004 episode of Medical Investigation titled 'Team'. In 2009, she played Elsa in the pilot episode of The Cabonauts before being cast in Dollhouse.
