Miranda Harcourt
Miranda Harcourt is a New Zealand actress and acting coach. She began her acting career in the early 1970s, playing boy characters on Radio New Zealand. Harcourt gained recognition for her role as Gemma in the TV drama series Gloss in the 1980s. She received a nomination for best actress in the 1989 Film and TV Awards for her performance. Harcourt graduated from Toi Whakaari, New Zealand Drama School, in 1984. She later studied drama therapy in psychiatric institutions, with the deaf, and in prisons. Harcourt also collaborated with writer William Brandt for the solo play Verbatim, where she acted solo.
