Miranda Hart Biography
Miranda Katherine Hart Dyke, born on December 14, 1972, is an English comedian, actress, and writer. After receiving training at the Academy of Live and Recorded Arts, she started writing material for the Edinburgh Fringe Festival and appeared in various British sitcoms such as Hyperdrive (2006–2007) and Not Going Out (2006–2009). Hart gained widespread recognition for her self-driven semi-autobiographical BBC sitcom Miranda, which aired from 2009 to 2015 and earned her numerous awards and nominations. She also appeared in the BBC drama series Call the Midwife (2012–2015) and made her Hollywood debut in the film Spy (2015). In addition to her acting career, Hart has authored four books, including the semi-autobiographical Is It Just Me? (2012).
