Miranda Tapsell

Miranda Tapsell (born December 11, 1987) is a Larrakia Aboriginal Australian actress known for her roles in movies and TV shows. She gained recognition for her portrayal of Cynthia in the film The Sapphires and as Martha Tennant in the drama series Love Child. In 2016, she appeared as Fatima in the series Wolf Creek. Tapsell was born in Darwin, Northern Territory, and grew up in Jabiru, near Kakadu National Park. She won the Bell Shakespeare Company regional performance scholarship at age 16 and later graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art in 2008. Miranda's career began on stage and she has since appeared in various stage productions and screen projects.
