Mitchell Lee Hedberg (February 24, 1968 – March 30, 2005) was an American stand-up comedian known for his surreal humor and deadpan delivery. He gained a cult following for his mix of short, sometimes one-line jokes, absurd elements, and non sequiturs. Born in Saint Paul, Minnesota, Hedberg attended Harding High School but had little interest in academics and barely graduated. He started his stand-up career in Florida before moving to Seattle and embarking on tours. Hedberg appeared on MTV's Comikaze and made a 1996 appearance on the Late Show with David Letterman. His unique style and comedic talent left a lasting impact on the comedy world.
