Mitch Pileggi

Mitch Pileggi (born April 5, 1952) is an American actor known for his roles in various movies and TV shows. He played Horace Pinker in Shocker and Colonel Steven Caldwell in Stargate Atlantis. However, Pileggi is best known for his portrayal of Walter Skinner on the hit TV series The X-Files. He also appeared as Ernest Darby in Sons of Anarchy and Harris Ryland in the TNT revival of Dallas. Pileggi was born in Portland, Oregon, and grew up in various places due to his father's occupation. He began his acting career in high school, performing in musical theater. Pileggi has continued to act in films and television shows over the years, establishing himself as a versatile actor.
