Mitch Rouse is an American film and television actor, director, and screenwriter. Born on August 6, 1964, in Knoxville, Tennessee, he was raised in Oak Ridge, Tennessee. Rouse developed an interest in acting while attending the University of Tennessee. He studied acting in Atlanta and improv in Chicago, where he became involved with improv guru Del Close and Second City Theatre. Rouse moved to New York City after writing and performing in several Second City productions. He co-created and starred in two television series for Comedy Central, 'Exit 57' and 'Strangers with Candy,' alongside Amy Sedaris, Paul Dinello, and Stephen Colbert. Rouse has also appeared in various TV shows, including 'Reno 911!' and 'According to Jim.'
