Monica Lopera

Mónica Lopera Cossio (born September 10, 1985) is a Colombian-American actress known for her work in film, television, and theater. Born in Miami, Florida to an American father and Colombian mother, Lopera spent her early years in Medellín and later moved to Bogotá. Her passion for the performing arts began at a young age when she enrolled in a children's theater school. To further her training and language skills, she lived in London, England for five years. Lopera gained recognition for her role in the soap opera Francisco el Matemático and has since appeared in notable productions such as In Eva's Heels and An Angel Named Blue. In 2016, she portrayed Susannah in the film Between Two Worlds alongside Chris Mason. Lopera also joined the voice cast of Thomas & Friends in 2019, lending her voice to the character Gabriela in the UK/US versions.
