    Monica Padman is an American podcaster, actor, and producer. She is best known as the co-creator and co-host of the popular podcast Armchair Expert with Dax Shepard. In addition to her work in podcasting, Padman has also made appearances in various films and television shows, including CHiPs, The Good Place, Rutherford Falls, and Ryan Hansen Solves Crimes on Television. Born in Duluth, Georgia, Padman comes from a multicultural background, with her father being a Malayali engineer and her mother being a computer programmer from India. She attended Duluth High School, where she excelled academically and was a member of the cheerleading squad. Padman went on to graduate from the University of Georgia on a merit-based scholarship.
