Morena Baccarin

Morena Baccarin (born June 2, 1979) is an American actress of Brazilian and Italian descent. She gained fame for her role as Inara Serra in the sci-fi series Firefly and its film Serenity, as well as portraying Vanessa in the Deadpool franchise. Baccarin also played Jessica Brody in the Showtime series Homeland, for which she received a Primetime Emmy Award nomination. Other notable roles include Dr. Leslie 'Lee' Thompkins in Gotham and Elena Federova in The Endgame. Born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, Baccarin attended various schools in New York City and later pursued theater at Juilliard School. She has established herself as a versatile and accomplished actress in both film and television.
