Morris Day Biography
Morris Day (born December 13, 1956) is an American musician, songwriter, and actor. He gained fame as the lead singer of The Time, a group closely associated with Prince. Day and Prince were bandmates in the band Grand Central during their teenage years. Day's acting career includes roles in films like Purple Rain (1984), Graffiti Bridge (1990), Richard Pryor's Moving (1988), The Adventures of Ford Fairlane (1990), and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back (2001), where he performed with The Time. In 2022, Day announced his final solo album Last Call and plans to retire after his 2023 tour.
