Mpho Osei Tutu is a French-born South African actor, voice artist, screenwriter, director, and producer. Born on December 31, 1981, in Paris, France, to a Ghanaian father and Mosotho mother, Tutu has lived in several countries including Lesotho, France, England, Togo, and Ghana. In 1992, his family settled in South Africa where he pursued his passion for drama, starting at the age of eight. Tutu is best known for his roles in films and television serials such as 'Seriously Single,' 'Mrs Right Guy,' and 'The Jakes Are Missing.' He also starred as Tebogo and Gary Mokoena in the South African series 'The Imposter.' Tutu obtained a B.A. (Hons) degree in Dramatic Art from Wits University. He is married to fellow actress, comedian, and writer Tumi Morake since November 28, 2009.
