Murray Seafield St George Head (born 5 March 1946) is an English actor and singer. He gained recognition for his role as Bob Elkin in the Oscar-nominated film Sunday Bloody Sunday (1971). Head has appeared in various other films and is also known for his successful music career. His international hit songs include 'Superstar' from the rock opera Jesus Christ Superstar (1970) and 'One Night in Bangkok' from the musical Chess (1984). Head continues to record music, perform concerts, and make TV appearances. He was born in London to seafield Laurence Stewart Murray Head and Helen Shingler, both of whom had careers in the entertainment industry.
