Nancy Lee Grahn is an American actress known for her work in daytime soap operas. She was born on April 28, 1956, in Evanston, Illinois, to a Jewish mother, Barbara Edna Ascher, and a Lutheran father, Robert Donald Grahn. Grahn's parents were involved in their local community theater. Her first stage appearance was in a community production of Oklahoma! In high school, she played 'Daisy Mae' in Lil' Abner. Grahn attended the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she landed her first credited role in Guys and Dolls. She later studied acting in New York City. Grahn portrayed Julia Wainwright Capwell on Santa Barbara from 1985 to 1993 and has been playing Alexis Davis on General Hospital since 1996.
