Nancy Justine McKeon is an American actress, born on April 4, 1966, in Westbury, New York. She began her career at a young age, modeling baby clothing for the Sears & Roebuck catalog. McKeon gained recognition for her roles as Jo Polniaczek on the NBC sitcom The Facts of Life and Jinny Exstead on The Division. She appeared on soap operas such as The Secret Storm and Another World before being cast in The Facts of Life in 1980. McKeon has also provided voice work for various ABC Weekend Special cartoon characters. She is known for her talent in crying on cue, which helped her land her breakthrough role.
