Nancy Sorel (born May 14, 1964) is a Canadian-American actress known for her roles on many TV series. Born and raised in Fall River, Massachusetts, Sorel received a degree in Theatre and Film from the University of Massachusetts/Amherst. She started her acting career in New York City, performing in Off Broadway plays, commercials, and as Coco on the ABC daytime drama One Life to Live. Sorel has appeared in various television series such as Generations, Murder, She Wrote, The X-Files, The Outer Limits, Cold Squad, Da Vinci's Inquest, Stargate SG-1, and The 4400. She also played Sammy on Fox's sitcom Down the Shore (1992-1993) and currently portrays Clara Fine on Less Than Kind (since 2008) and Claire Eastman on Cashing In (since 2009). Sorel has also appeared in movies including Crow's Nest (1992), I Love You, Don't Touch Me! (1997), and The Man Who Used to Be Me (2000).
