Naoko Mori (森 尚子) is a Japanese actress based in the United Kingdom. Born on 29 November 1971 in Nagoya, Japan, Mori moved to New Jersey at the age of four and returned to Japan at ten before settling in London. She is best known for her roles as Toshiko Sato in Doctor Who and Torchwood, Yasuko Namba in Everest, Sarah in Absolutely Fabulous, and Nicola in Spice World. Mori attended the Royal Russell School in London and chose to remain in the city on her own when her parents returned to Japan. With a diverse range of roles across film and television, Mori has become a recognized figure in the industry.
