Naomi Watts

Naomi Ellen Watts (born 28 September 1968) is a British actress. She made her film debut in Australia before moving to the United States. Watts rose to international prominence with her role in David Lynch's psychological thriller Mulholland Drive (2001). She garnered critical acclaim and an Academy Award nomination for Best Actress for her performance in 21 Grams (2003), directed by Alejandro González Iñárritu. Watts has appeared in a variety of genres, including horror (The Ring, 2002), comedy (I Heart Huckabees, 2004), and action-adventure (King Kong, 2005). Her other notable films include Eastern Promises (2007) and The International (2009).
