    Naomi Yang Biography
    Naomi Yang (born September 15, 1964) is an American musician, graphic designer, photographer, and filmmaker. She gained recognition as the bassist and occasional vocalist for the dreampop band Galaxie 500 from 1987 to 1991. Following Galaxie 500's split, she formed the psychedelic rock band Magic Hour, recording three albums and touring with them. Yang also collaborated with her partner Damon Krukowski as the psychedelic folk duo Damon and Naomi, working with notable musicians like Michio Kurihara and members of the Japanese rock band Ghost. In addition to her musical career, Yang has made videos for various artists and co-founded the independent book publisher Exact Change, specializing in avant-garde literature.
