Natasha Wanganeen

Natasha Wanganeen (born June 20, 1984) is an Aboriginal Australian actress. She gained recognition for her starring role in the 2002 feature film Rabbit-Proof Fence at the age of 15. She has appeared in numerous television roles and made her debut as a co-writer and co-producer in the 2022 short film Bunker: The Last Fleet, where she also took the lead role. Wanganeen was born in Point Pearce, South Australia and is a Ngarrindjeri, Narungga, Kaurna, and Noongar woman. Some of her notable works include the films Jessica (2004) and Cargo (2017), as well as her role in the play The Secret River during the Adelaide Festival in 2017.
